Tressler recently joined more than 50 law firms and associations in denouncing the anti-Asian hate, violence and racism related to COVID-19 spearheaded by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Assn.’s Stand Against Hate initiative.
Tressler stands united against hate wherever it is expressed and whenever an ethnic community is targeted. We support all ethnic communities, including the Vietnamese American community, which recently commemorated the 45th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon on April 30.
The Vietnamese American community in Orange County, through its community leaders and Vietnamese-owned businesses, including nail salons, restaurants and franchises, have been and are organizing a massive donation of face masks, gloves, food and drinks to hospitals, healthcare workers, seniors and homeless.
Though Vietnamese Americans have suffered hate crimes, racial slurs, violence and vandalism solely on the basis of their ethnicity and Asian appearance, they have chosen to give back to the country that welcomed them as refugees in 1975.
Tressler is a strong proponent of diversity and inclusion.
